I made my grow medium using 2 liter soda bottles with rockwool inside and PVC pipe for the watering system. Just turn on the pump and the bottles fill up. Turn off and it drains back to the res. EZ set up
Hello. I am making an ebb & flow system from upside down 2-liter bottles. The water will be pumped up through the neck and plants will grow up from the cut off bottoms of the bottles. I am planning to use a mix of Perlite and Vermiculite. Is that my best option? Also what should I put in the neck to let water in while keeping Perlite and Vermiculite in place?
