My friend created a Mercedes to Chevy adapter conversion kit for easy instalation of a 5 cylinder mercedes turbo diesel engine and a GM bellhousing and crank bolt pattern into any vehicle. That way you could run a variety of different GM trannys with the engine. I plan to do this swap into a Toyota pick up or 4runner and convert it to biodiesel. The OM617 is a great 5 cylinder engine.
