About 80 years ago, United Sates citizens were celebrating the repeal of prohibition. In 2014, a similar celebration happened in Colorado on New Yearrsquo;s Day. On Jan. 1, 2014, Colorado opened its first retail recreational marijuana stores across the state. Hundreds lined up ahead of the store openings to be among the first people in Colorado to purchase recreational marijuana legally from the newly opened stores, such as the BotanaCare marijuana store in Northglenn.
