Two years ago, Charlotte Figi was losing a lifelong battle to epilepsy. Her parents were using a hospice program at home because she wasnamp;rsquo;t eating, had chronic pneumonia, and couldnamp;rsquo;t swallow water. At the age of five, Charlotte was suffering up to 50 seizures a day. Fast forward to today, Charlotte, now seven, is like any other child. She rides horses, goes to school, and plays with her twin sister and older brother. Her parents say she is 99% seizure-free, suffering usually one seizure a month which is under control after a few minutes.
