I start my babes in water and keep them in water all the time. Deep water / 5 gal bucket / filled to about 3 inches from the top. Water temp at 74 F high oxy content (two air stones) off a 1,400 gpm. After they crack'n and watch'n for 24 you can really see a foot so I toss them in the bucket...
