help me with co2

Hey growers I was going thrw some adds and blogs and co2 kept coming up so i was wondering how it will work for my plants and what does it even do? So i add it in soil? Add it in air? Spay it on plants? So all these thoughts in my head kept going thrw so now im here asking someone who worked...
