Pain Creme recipe by Beemerbill

I have made this cream, it turned out very well and helped with back muscles. Word of caution on the amount of menthol crystals you use, I cut mine in half because the smell of menthol was way too strong for me.

I do make pain cream for a lot of people. I have 8 or 9 people that use it and really like it. I originally made it for the wife's chronic pain.

Things that you will need.
Crock Pot
blender
and containers to put it in.

Ingredients

good shake or bud
coconut oil
shea butter
beeswax
menthol crystals ( peppermint crystals)
tea tree oil
You can also put in a little E oil or almond oil for better penetration

I cook only on low with the my pot and it goes to around 210 with the lid on so I don't worry about over heating.

Recipe
1 cup coconut oil
1 cup rough grind bud or shake
1/3 cup shea butter
1/2 cup beeswax
6 to 8 large tablespoons of menthol crystals
and around 8 to 10 drops of tea oil as a preservative

If you put E oil or almond oil in you may need a little more beeswax. I have had to put everything back into the crookpot and reheat to add more beeswax. The beeswax makes it firm up and not turn to liquid in the heat of the summer or house.

put the coconut oil and bud in the crook pot and cook for at least 3 hours. this is long enough to get all the goodies out of the bud and into the oil. I then strain it through a 120 mesh hash bag, you can use cheese cloth doubled up, and put the oil back in the crook pot. It takes a lot of squeezing to get as much of the oil out as you can. Save the bud and make some brownies or the like with it.

Now add all the rest of the ingredients and cook for around an hour. This is where I put it into a bender and blend it for a couple of minutes more or less. This really blends it and adds a little air to it for a better consistency. Pour into containers and enjoy

In order to correct the batch you are working on you will need to add avocado or olive oil.
coconut melts at 70-75
shea melts at 90-95
bees wax melts at 105-110
average melt temp 80-90
If starting a new batch,,more of a cream than a butter, leave out the bees wax
making it medicated precook the meds in the coconut, drain then add the other ingredients.
we have a few people that just use the medicated coconut oil for 2-3 years now
Hope this is of some help.:peace:
