I'm building a 5x4x2 grow closet and need help deciding on weAther to use an HPS 400w in this space to reduce the need for a plug in heater.. The box is in my basement so right now I have them (mother and two clones) in the room where the box is built and have 23w CFLs suspended over them and an electric heater and an oscillating fan for circulation. I don't know if the 400w bulb will be too hot I'm planning to grow 5 plants in there. Was originally going to use 6 23w CFLs which is 600w but not as hot! But now my heater died so I was thinking .... HPS??? The box is for veg only - the mum has her own box 
and there's a shelf above the veg for germination ( so the warmth from HPS would help? )
