trichomes milky or clear?

hey thiss is my first grow, 6 weeks into flowering have just registerd here and was hoping i could get some input on trich color, below is a link to pics of my buds ..

From what Ive learned over the years is - if you want your meds to be less sedative then harvest when the tricombs just start to turn amber not the hairs. If you wait until the tricombs are 3/4s amber to harvest your meds will be quite a bit more sedative like sleepy couchlock.Hope that helps.TOAST

Thanks for the reply but I cannot tell wht stage trichs are in .. Can u tell if they r clear or cloudy or amber from the pictures?

I went so far as to put my scope on the screen of my monitor (lol) no I realy did.to see if I could get close enough to tell but no cigar. So what you need to do is go to a camera store and purchase a 15X or better pocket loop, 15X is what I use but I also have a Carson MicroMax LED Lighted Zoom Microscope 60X-100X ,but the loop is all I realy ever use except for rare occations. You need to be realy close, realy realy close when you look at the tricombs with the 15X loop so you might want to get a 35X loop insted its all up to you.Once you get the loop you should have no problem telling what stage the tricombs are in. TOAST

Lol thnkx man, I have a 60x lighted loupe commin from ebay, but anxious to tell if they are ready, if u zoom on the pic u can get a better look at trics
