Ever willing to intrude its fanciful nonsense at every opportunity, not a month has passed since Colorado passed its recreational cannabis bill and Scientology has already raised its tentacles.
The school board of District 51 (Grand Junction, CO) was somehow talked into distributing over 8500 pamphlets produced by the "church" of Scientology entitled, "The Truth About Marijuana."
If you could put Reefer Madness in pamphlet form, this would be it. Full of hyperbole, misinformation and just plain lies, it beggars the imagination why a school board would think this piece of crapulous propaganda from a destructive cult would be a good thing to distribute to households.
Colorado parents received this booklet:

I would recommend reading this POS and plucking out all the falsehoods, but I had to stop at the point where cannabis makes you stupid and causes leukemia.
You should know that this pamphlet is not only dangerous due to misinformation and hyperbolic fearmongering. It is also dangerous because it directs people seeking help to contact Scientology. You will then be referred to their overpriced quack drug rehab, Narconon.
Narconon has been in the news lately due to a series of deaths and lawsuits. Although they deny association except as "The church of Scientology supports us, as do other churches," the fact is; Narconon is right there on Scientology's corporate chart. It is directly related, and all materials are Scientology programs. Basically, it's Scientology courses coupled with their "Purification Rundown," a dangerous piece of junk science and medical quackery. (see 'series of deaths, above)
Is it Scientology? Yes.
Is it dangerous? Decide for yourself:
Narconon Exposed: Is Narconon Safe?
Somehow, the cult managed to hornswoggle the school board into distributing their PR junk for them. Below is the list of contacts. Read the pamphlet. Read the dangers. And, if you're in Colorado, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! You can't expect Anonymous to handle all your cult related problems, and this is one in your own back yard.
