Starting a staged grow...

I'm going to be starting a staged grow in the near future and have alittle experience from knowledgable growers but this will be my first, I'm looking to harvest 16oz every 4 weeks to begin but other than some good HPS lights and obvious essentials what else would I need to start? And when it comes to organics and hydroponics is one "better" or "easier" than the other? Any helpful tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Good luck with your garden, brah! There's lots of knowledgable advice on this site. I'm also a no0b with hydro but on a much smaller scale than you. The only advice I can contribute is whatever style hydroponics you choose, always learn from mistakes and improv from them. Like I learned the hard way NOT to use strap molassess in a hydro set up. Always try to keepan eye on air temp, water temp and pH. And leaves will tell you what they may be lacking.
