Did I say "Thank you " enough? Probably not. :laugh2: I haven't read all of it, but you can be assured I will. Your notes in the process and your thoughts as a caregiver are invaluable to me.
I'll need 4 ounces minimum then. Ok, now I have a goal.
Question: do you have records of the ratios you used for the strains you mix for your oils? I'm becoming very interested in the thought process that goes into this part of the production.
I've been thinking we'd be well served to have a thread dedicated to the particulars of being a caregiver. Any thoughts of your own on this?
Read it all. Couldn't walk away in the middle. Wow Gigi! There's a wealth of information here. You, dear woman, were one of the best things I stumbled upon in the past two years of opportunistic tumbling through the Internet.

Rick Simpson recommends using more than one strain. I have conversed with him via email and skype about that and other things. His wealth of information is huge. We do not always agree, but in the end, we are after the same conclusion.
Confidence in each strain chosen. Each strain possesses different properties that will complement each other. I have noticed that when smoking a mix of all 4 and figured it would be the same with the oil.
The amount: With the size rice cooker I have (6 cup I think), whether it is 1/4 pound or a pound, the clean up waste is the same. If I do more than a pound, I can't use my 1 cup measuring cup to do the final purge. I prefer the smaller cup, and 1 cup is a large as I will go. I feel better using one set of equipment rather than doubling up.
My favorite amount to do is about 1/2 pound. It is scary, because if you spill..... it can cost a lot.
The scary part is gathering the produce. You have to convince yourself that it's a benefit, not a loss. I had a run go bad once and left me with nothing. That leaves you a little gunshy.
I hadn't considered what I'd ask Rick if I had the chance to speak with him. If something occurs to me I'll let you know.
I know what you mean about being gunshy. I suffered many losses. I don't like to talk much about those. Like spilling a bowl of solvent, my naturally decarbed oil totally leaking out of the syringes all over the shelf in my safe, (that was before I started using the vials and putting them into another jar), stuff like that.
How about the second interview video with my first cancer patient?
I plan to do a part 3 now that it has been over 5 years for him being cancer free. Are there any questions you would like me to ask him for the interview?
As for an idea for a new thread topic: Holistic Medicine, it's not just cannabis, it's more.
