Strains

I would recommend three strains if you are interested in a complete regimen for 'daytime and nighttime'. They would be a high CBD strain mixed with a high THC strain (normally a hybrid) and a pure Indica for nighttime. If possible have the high CBD strain grown to full term, the hybrid grown for peak THC and the Indica grown full term also.

will need an ounce of Indica (close to 100% you can get). Hindu Kush, Afgan Kush, Master Kush are examples. This isn't to kill cancer as her daytime regimen is for that. The Indica is strictly for sleep and to increase appetite if needed.
