Cannafan, this topic makes my blood run cold in my veins. It is so obvious, and has been for years, that the police have a vested financial interest in continuing the war on cannabis, something that should have made us stop and look more closely many years ago. That they have become so emboldened that they don't even try to hide it anymore is cause for grave concern. I keep wondering where they will begin to practice forfeiture when we've eliminated cannabis, because they aren't going to give up this income stream without a fight.

It will be something I'll be watching closely. How do we, as a society, overcome this challenge? We've allowed too much power to become centralized in law enforcement. Never a good thing for a free society.
