Went tubing this past sunday once again. The day started out nice and hot river was cool at first them warmer once you got used to it. Took some nice cupckae edibles for the group everyone loved them! Within an hour we were are giggling and having great conversation among us. We also took a cooler with some beer and some southern comfort. All was good until we got about 2 hours down the river and almost every single one of us hit a log then took turns laughing about it before realising some of out tubes were deflating, We had 2 1/2 hours to go still! We had to keep stopping and blowing up our tubes to stay afloat and to make matters worse it became overcase windy which made up cold, then the rain started to set in. From then on it was just wet. The rest of the trip consisted of shivering, actually swimming the river to hurry and drinking to keep warm. Going down the river in the downpour it actually looked like we were floating down a river in a jungle somewere exotic. It wasn't a complete loss we still had a great time. We thought when we got there wow there isn't alot of people going tubing today we are going to have the river to ourselves! Now we know why no one went tubing. If anything we should have started early. The main moral though is always check the weather before you go!(which I didn't do doh!)
