Transplant

I was so nervous. I had the chore of transplanting my cannabis but I had 50 pepper seed germinate. The reading and research I have done for growing my medicine is incredibly effective for growing food. Using similar technics I am growing corn, peppers, watermelon and asparagus. I have even decided to share my vegetable crops with my neighbors.

So the extraction from the small plastic pots was nerve racking and akward. The soil was too dry so I had to use my hands to scoop out the plants. I went to pull my strongest plant out and some of the roots pulled away and broke off the plant. I believe this occured due to the design of the inside of the pot. The pot had a plastice piece that helped water to drain from the pot. The roots grew into that space and became entangled.

I used 5 gallon plastic buckets cutting drain holes in the bottom. I transplanted them into organic Miracle Grow garden soil. I buried them as close to the first leave structure and watered thoroughly. I said a little prayer and hoped for the best. I came to look at all my transplants and they look happier than ever. I have not observed any wilting or shock to any of the plants. I will report back if any change.
