What is the meaning of the identity?I think it is the most vital question. In my wieving in search of the identity there are serious problems.Without them there would be no solution, crisis as collective and individual takes us to consider this topic more clearly.Us and them-theses is often identity fighting over other identities, thus it would be difficult to determine which is the real truth.Truth can be manipulated, higher cause is very often the reason that people can go over them selfs,as not unmoral beings.Even when they KNOW that this is not right, evil can be reversed as good, its just a matter of perception and it can be made what ever the need is.Lets wiev this an individual perspective. The only way i can have identity is to determine who i am.So it begins, your parents tell you that you are a such and such nation citizen, and they dont forget to tell you which identities are bad base on a history of identity,so we are learned from very young that identity is something that we havetsy fight for.Members of a "nation" share a common identity, and usually a common origin, in the sense of history, ancestry, parentage or descent. A nation extends across generations, and includes the dead as full members. Past events are framed in this context: for example, by referring to "our soldiers" in conflicts which took place hundreds of years ago. More vaguely, nations are assumed to include future generations. This is a definition of a nation identity. In roughly manner,so to say. Then there is psychological identity: The Eriksonian framework rests upon a distinction among the psychological sense of continuity, known as the ego identity (sometimes identified simply as "the self"); the personal idiosyncrasies that separate one person from the next, known as the personal identity; and the collection of social roles that a person might play, known as either the social identity or the cultural identity.Cultural identity remarks upon: place, gender, race, history, nationality, sexual orientation, religious beliefs and ethnicity. Culture, as a social practice, is not something that individuals possess. Rather, it is a social process in which individuals participate, in the context of changing historical conditions. And it continues with a psychological premis.Ego integrity is the ego's accumulated assurance of its capacity for order and meaning. Ego identity is the accrued confidence that the inner sameness and continuity prepared in the past are matched by the sameness and continuity of one's meaning for others, as evidenced in the promise of a career. Body and ego must be masters of organ modes and of the other nuclear conflicts in order to face the fear of ego loss in situations which call for self-abandon.The gender identity is very important when we reflect the identity.Gender identity (or core gender identity) is a person's own sense of identification as male or female. The term is intended to distinguish this psychological association, from physiological and sociological aspects of gender.[1] Gender identity was originally a medical term used to explain sex reassignment procedures to the public.Gender identity is affected by "genetic, prenatal hormonal, postnatal social, and postpubertal hormonal determinants."[4] Biological factors include the influence of testosterone and gene regulation in brain cells. Social factors are primarily based on the family, as gender identity is thought to be formed by the third year of life. Then it goes little deeper in to a self-determination is defined as free choice of one's own acts without external compulsion, and especially as the freedom of the people of a given territory to determine their own political status or independence from their current state. The latter is a complex concept with conflicting definitions and legal criteria for determining which groups may legitimately claim the right to self-determination.So we see that Self-determination is at least complex issue, cos it seems that its a privilidge of certain identities, which form governs and rules for applying Self-determination.Problems continue.National self-determination challenges the principle of territorial integrity (or sovereignty) of states because it is the will of the people that makes a state legitimate. This implies a people should be free to choose their own state and its territorial boundaries. However, there are far more self-identified nations than there are existing states and there no legal process to redraw state boundaries according to the will of these peoples. So my question is directed to all identities, how an earth you defy your identity, without loosing your Other?Or is it just a path to find that wich sees without been seeing?
Im refering Jaques Derrida"s implication of The Other,or Otherness, some religion"s call it the Soul,Spirit,Mind etc...This text should be deconstructed and then we would see all the explicit saying"s and limit"s of this text.
Deconstruction is a philosophical theory of words and speech-but its not actually philosophical, cos it manifest itself way over just philosophical things.
Peace.
