The male pollen sacs...from my own grow

I wound up with two male plants on my first grow. I kept them in a far, far, away area and separate room from the flower room so I could watch the evolution of the plant and not take a chance on the pollen getting to the grow room. I am very careful that I don't transfer anything into the flowering room.
I will be updating this post as the process is documented.

Here are the first pics of the Pollen sacs that have formed, one pic from each plant:

11-6 update: I broke open a sac to see what the inside looks like. It has no pollen in it yet, but this is what is called the male flower. It will mature and open up to spread the produced pollen.

And this is an update of the plant, I did some LST to keep it away from the heat of the bulbs until I raise the light fixture:

The pollen is being released in this photo:

I collected some pollen into a tupperware bowl by tapping a branch above it. I will be using the pollen.

That is the process of a male Cannabis plant. If it were with the female plants in flower, the pollen would land on the female flowers and pollenate them. They would then stop flowering and start to make seeds!
