I will share my unsolicited experience with jiffy. if you can keep them under 72 they are great 90% but over 80 cooks them there seeds.

I now just water dunk till seed cracks/sinks, then in a ziplock bag place seed on top of moist paper towel close and turn over so said seed doesn't grow into towel as seeds can read gravity, store in cool dark place. once i have 1/4 inch tap I place a toothpick as a marker use a pen lid to make 3/8 deep hole into hempy media place seed in hole . This is my key i dont cover the seed over i mist with full nutes all around until the sides fall in on seed and all i can see is the helmet tip . i place a 2 liter bottle top cut off as to make a funnel, put lid on and cover seed . misting media daily but leaving covered no light needed just cool temps! two days +/- later bam sprouted so next day full light . i take the lid off and leave clear pop bottle funnel over for a few more days done. total success those very few that dont pop I regard as seed failure not mine. below 72 = success

Just my humble opinion but at 10-15 euros for a seed i make sure temps are below 72.

but not all of us live in moderately cool climates so ymmv
