I can answer that for you. I assume you have your oil in a syringe. You start by drying your gums. Put a small amount (a small grain of rice) on your finger. Some people are able to put their finger straight on their gums and the tack will stick. For me it just smeared around and made a mess. Instead, I take a q-tip and cut the cotton end off. Now I have a round smooth plastic stick. With the tack on your finger, roll it onto the stick. Then roll it off onto your dried gums. It will stick. Now, if you are looking to avoid the "high", Don't swallow for 20 minutes or so. If you don't mind the high, go for it,(we call this a sloppy tack ) Be aware, it can be strong depending on your meds.
