This is going to be my first closet grow and I am very excited.
So here is what I know. I have smoked for several years and over the last few months I have collected about 6 seeds. I have researched a lot about germinating and it seems the best way is to line a matchbox with a really fine sandpaper and shake your seed around. this allows the shell to become thinner and improving germination rate significantly.
What I need help with:
I have lined my 3' x 8' closet with Styrofoam with a Mylar cover on it. (Is this going to be enough space?)
I am also on a budget, I would love to keep my first grow under 250$ which I already have the seeds and my closet is already lined.
I was looking at the 1000w Version of this light. Now seeing the prices of a Ballast I am going to raise my budget to 350$.
Could I get recommendations on Soil as well as lighting? I found 400w HPS setup at Home Depot which would be about 60$.
