Just to see if the seeds that I'd been blowing down were viable, I put them in between some wet paper towels.
I can't even begin to describe my surprise when I found that the seeds had sprouted, two of them in fact. One of them has a little seed sprout, and a little green end. I'm so surprised, and I'm not even sure of what I'm doing. This is my first time growing anything (I have a self admitted killing hand), and I'm nervous. I know the seeds aren't the fancy exotics that I'm so used to smoking, but I'm excited to place the sprout in a little container, until it's large enough for me to re-pot into a real pot.
I don't have any fancy equipment, or lamps. I have sunlight, and good soil, and maybe some nutrition sticks if I'm lucky. I'd like to see what happens. Maybe I'll grow something that I can cook with, maybe I'll grow something that I can smoke, maybe I'll grow something that barely has any potency. Who really knows. But I'm excited, in love even.
I'd like to consider this my first pet, I haven't decided what to name the two plants (I have two sprouts, so I have to find a second pot). The one thing I do know, I'm going to come here every day, learn more, educate myself.
