My ph runoff has been around 8. I have been using ph down to try and contol it but even if i ph the water to 6 it still comes out at eight. I watered today and the runoff smells really bad. I dont think it is root rot because i wait 3 to 4 days until soil is very dry before i water. Could the p[h down have anything to do with the smell. Any advice of what to do would be greatly appreciated.
