I tried vaping some Grapefruit Shatter around 3:30 p.m. It hit me right away and didn't stay with me. Now I don't know if that was the fault of the shatter or the fault of the new Quick Draw 500-DLX vaporizer that my husband and I bought last night. We bought it because it was half the size of my current portable vaporizer and because it seemed versatile since it has separate cartridges for Dry, Liquid and Extracts.

When I tried it with the shatter, the lights that the manual said were supposed to come on to indicate it was heating and to indicate when it was ready didn't.

So when the shatter didn't appear to do the trick for me, around 4:30, I vaped some Blue God, an Indica I got from BC Bud using the Dry (Herb) cartridge and all the lights did what they were supposed to do for this one and consequently, I felt more stoned.

But I'm still not as high as I wanted to get today. Initially, I had planned on eating some hash and being high for most of the day but since we had a new toy and some new drugs that I hadn't tried yet, I changed my mind but now I kind of wish I hadn't.

So, it's 6:13 now and I'm thinking I might either vape some more Blue God or some of my hash or maybe some Alaskan Thunder F**k, which I know is what I'm looking for.

6:25 p.m. - I still had some Blue God in the vaporizer so that's what I went for but it's not the high I was looking for. Definitely think I'm going to vape some Alaskan. Maybe I'll put it in my other vaporizer.

The other thing I don't like about my new vaporizer is that the mouthpiece is made out of plastic and when I vape, it tastes like plastic. Yuck!

I just read a review about The Mighty portable vaporizer. It's made by the same people as The Volcano so I suspect it's pretty good but I can't buy a new vaporizer for double the cost the day after my last purchase. I'm not made out of money.

7:11 - Broke out the Alaskan AND my old vaporizer.

7:27 - I have a lot of tabs open. Between researching vaporizers and different sites about music and listening to tunes and blogging here, it's getting harder to do. :cheesygrinsmiley:

8:40 - Ate a bean and cheese burrito for dinner but I'm still hungry. Wondering whether the Turtles my husband brought me will do the trick or maybe I should have a banana or peanuts? Currently, chewing sugar-free gum which I think is definitely one of the most AWESOME inventions since I was a teen! I could have taken up chewing gum instead of filling up on junk food and/or cigarettes. I love chewing gum when I'm high. It's mesmerizing and tastes good.

Seriously have the munchies. Everything tastes so good. Went with the Turtles.

10:30 - I really hate that tomorrow night I have to go to bed much earlier because I have to return to work on Tuesday morning so no more sleeping in.

12:20 - Okay, I've decided to finish my evening when my "B" songs are done. There are 4 more.

12:48 a.m. - I'm off to bed. I'm not especially tired but I don't want to waste my last day of vacation sleeping all day.
