Ever have one of those highs where you really want to share what you're feeling but it's really hard to stay focused enough to actually get somewhere you can do that? Yeah, that's where I am right now. It's 10 to 4 on Sunday after and I vaped some Alaskan Thunder Fuck about 2 hours ago after the disastrous smoking incident with it last night.
I need to do a review of it. It's definitely a cerebral high where the stuff I'm reading or hearing seems so much deeper than I would normally afford it, you know?
Like, I'm the email list for MassRoots and this week's newsletter had a link to their list of the 20 Top Songs About Weed and I bet 10 of them were rap and 3 of them were reggae and 2 of them were Jimi Hendrix and some other coloured singer not doing rap or reggae and 5 of them were other kinds of music. So, what I'm wondering is... It's my perception that rappers seem to encounter a lot of violence and if that's true, it doesn't make sense to me that they use cannabis, which is probably the most mellow and non-violent drug out there, right? I mean does that make sense? (Do you have any idea how long I've been working on this paragraph? I probably started it an hour ago and what with researching this part of my blog and getting distracted by hubby and the stuff I'm cooking (chili and banana bread) and being hungry, it's taken me forever to complete this thought. Like I started this paragraph when I started this blog.)
5:09 p.m. - It's definitely a mellow but cerebral high where it's very easy just to zone out listening to good tunes (currently Angels Losing Sleep by Our Lady Peace, one of my very favourite bands) but the brain is active, too and I regret that I might have to vape some of my Muerte to help me be able to sleep and stop feeling such a good high. But we'll see. I have work tomorrow so I have to sleep.
Did I tell you what a much better high today is after vaping it than yesterday when I tried smoking it?
5:49 p.m. - I just vaped some Muerte and hope it will make me sleepy enough by bedtime.
6:16 p.m. - Just finished dinner. Decided to have my roast beef and cheddar panini instead of the chili I had made. Our local gourmet store makes the best roast beef and cheddar paninis and I'm totally addicted to them. I think I've had one every night for the past week. They're so good. I should probably try to figure out how to make them myself but I don't know if they would be as good. I usually eat peanut butter and honey on chia toast for breakfast with a mug of tea but I've been off it recently so have been enjoying Tim Horton's breakfast sandwiches every morning but hubby bought me some English muffins, eggs and bacon and I baked a bunch of scrambled eggs in Ramekins in the oven and every morning since yesterday, I've made my own breakfast sandwich and it's so good and I suspect it might be a little healthier, too, which is always a bonus. Anyhow, I started telling you about my dinner because for dessert I had 2 Peanut Butter Smoothies from Beanermunky, our local chocolate shop and once again I absolutely believe that eating Reese's Peanut Butter cups is like eating sandpaper compared to Bearnermunky's Peanut Butter Smoothies. Don't get me wrong; I enjoy a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup on occasion; I just prefer the Peanut Butter Smoothies as a rule of thumb.
I was going to post a review of the Alaskan Thunder Fuck but I'm having a hard time thinking cohesively so I'll try to remember everything to post another time. (Although I did happen to notice that someone else has reviewed this strain. Are multiple reviews of the same strain allowed?)
6:43 p.m. - It's time to head off to bed to read and unwind for an hour before going to sleep. This has been fun.
