Alright, I haven't post in a while. Many things happened this past weeks, mostly problems, now im back here and i'll give you a lil' update.
One of the worsts things that happened was when my ballast stop working after a transformer blew up around my street. i had to send it back for a replacement and i had to change completely my light system. instead of a 1000w iPower MH bulb now i got this.
Then my biggest concern is the 2 lil' girls that are in the down row to the left... 1 of them was always slower than the rest since she was on germination, always behind, always a little droopy and i don't really know what could it be, roots seem underdeveloped compared with the others but i don't understand why. The second one is a different strain than the rest, she also seems to have underdeveloped root system. to both of them i arrange my lights to give them a little more but it hasn't make any difference in fact they started to look a little yellow and one of them got two little brown spots, so i think they didn't liked the extra light.
Besides those main problems in my grow room, the rest of the girls have been growing really good, i think... its been 1 month since i put the seeds in the germination tray. They all are auto flower so i guess i have about 1 more month before the show sex and start flowering. I feel like they are still to small to string them down for LST and i don't want to top them because i don't want to slow down their growth process, any suggestions?
In my little side project with the grow box i showed you in the second entry, i have also a little girl that im not sure if she is doing good or bad. the problem with my grow box seems to be the humidity, because for some reason sometimes is very dry and other times is very humid... im trying to control it but my plant has twisted leaves, like if she is doing a spiral, sometimes her leaves are curled up and other times curled down. at first it looked a little yellow-ish so i removed two small light bulbs and moved up the big one so she doesn't get to much light, now she seems the be getting a little greener. Unfortunately, i didn't bring any pictures of this... ill make sure to bring some for next time.
Also i got a small grow closet where im going to put 4 photoperiod plants, grow them, take clones and start a new grow, hopefully with a hydroponic DIY system. Im in the process of getting everything i need to build it, so later on ill tell you how that goes.
Finally i have here my two all grown up girls in about their 3th week of flowering... but who's counting, right?
They where never really trained, just topped a couple of times maybe after their second month in veg, so... im not really expecting an amazing yield from them, but they still are my girls and i love'em.
Changing the subject... im really anxious to build a greenhouse in my roof top, but i don't seem to be convinced enough that i can do it right. I know what i want and i know what i need but im not sure how to start and i always end up blaming the lack of money.
Still, i planted a few tomatoes in that roof and they are flowering but still no tomatoes. they seem fine, i water them every few days directly with a hose, sometimes i add some nutes but never ph'ed their water since i put them on the roof.
Also i cloned a few stevia plants that where looking so good when i put them in their soil and after a day in my roof they dried out, now they are getting back up, some of them... they'll be fine...
Thats about it with my growing issues, well last thing, i saw a "pot" called topsy turvy tomato planter, that lets you hang out your plant from a selling and she will grow upside down. O.O has anyone used something like that? please let me know! I was thinking of buying a few of those for my tomatoes and i was wondering what would happened with a canabis plant there...
