Brooksville, Florida -- A juvenile probation officer with Eckerd Youth Challenge was arrested Saturday on a marijuana possession charge.
Hernando County Sheriff's deputies first stopped Ahman Warren, who was wanted on two warrants, at the Hess Express on East Jefferson Street in Brooksville.
Deputies watched Warren walk to the gas pumps and give "a plastic baggie with a green leafy substance" to Joe Johnson, Jr., according to the offense report.
Deputies put handcuffs on Warren.
Johnson then dropped the bag and told deputies, "I can't go to jail. I'm a juvenile probation officer." Deputies say Johnson showed identification for Eckerd Youth Challenge.
Warren and Johnson were arrested and each charged with marijuana possession.
