Planning

So as I work on getting my license transferred, and my card I have been doing immense amounts of research an learning.​

I think my license will take about a week or two to come in the mail and I plan on going tomorrow. As for the card, I am not quite sure how it works. I have heard numerous different things. There's a Medical Marijuana Conference this up coming weekend offering Dr.'s on site but as I said before I wont have my state license by then so I am just going to have to look up come creditable doctors in the area an proceed from there. I read on the state site that as long as all goes well and I'm approved it can take up to 60 days to receive my card in the mail. There also offering lectures, cooking classes, an other such things which I would love to attend but I don't think I will be able to because I pretty much work the whole weekend (the sad life of a server lol).​

So that being said I have plenty of time to get some extra cash saved an really plan this thing out. I've read a lot of times that one of new growers biggest mistakes is rushing. Well let me assure everyone I am very patient and I want nothing more to go slow an steady an do this thing right the first time. I know another big mistake new growers are said to make is spending too much money before they even know how to grow. Now I know reading is not the same as doing but not only have I read, taken notes, watched videos but I have been doing any possible learning I can do in any spare time I have, and let me tell you its addicting. It amazing how much there is too know about this one single plant, an how much is possible with this one plant. It's truly a beautiful thing. So as far as money I am planning on saving a decent amount an spending a decent amount for my first grow but only because I plan on doing things cautiously and when I'm ready rather just jumping into things an planning them as I go as it seems many people do. I am going to have the answers to all my questions before I begin rather then asking them after I started. I just don't want to waste money on a dink setup when that money could go toward the setup I want an have the confidence in using the correct way.

The Plan so far:​

Definitely going to be going with DWC as my growing method. As for a growing space I plan on using my bedroom, I sleep on a queen air mattress so its easily put away an then I just plan on crashing on my couch for awhile. I am also going to be ordering the Secret Jardin DR150 which if I'm correct is just about 6x6x6. As for lighting I am not sure yet about whether to use one 600w MH or CFL for veg, an then a 600w HPS for flowing for sure. I am also not sure yet about what hood I plan on buying along with how many plants I am going to attempt. I do plan on using all the same strain for my first grow and so far I am leaning toward some Trainwreck. I plan on purchasing the Lumatek digital dimmable multi watt/bulb Ballast. I haven't decided yet on whether I am to worried about odors an am going to use a carbon scrubber or not, as for ventilation I am probably going to be going with a simple Passive Intake System. Now as far as what I will be using for my DWC I am also not quite sure yet. I was planning on making the simple one described by MMAdvisor Here But I also wanted to use a scrog, so I am not sure how this would work every week when I would need to change the water in the buckets. Basically lots more research to do. What I'm thinking is I would have to just have a way to drain the buckets similar to Current Cultural's system rather then physically removing the plants an then replacing them. As far as nutrients an such and lighting hours I also have yet to decide on that. An I am also still trying to decide how many plants to grow in my space with the lighting I'm choosing. I am thinking 4 plants for one 600w light? As for my scrog, I definitely plan on using string, as from what I've read this seems to be the best option. Now I know with scroging you can have more plants in one area so I could probably get away with six but I think I am just going to go with 4 to be safe, after all this is my first grow I have confidence but I don't want to over due it.​

Well guys this sums it up. So far this is what I have figured out an whats been kinda going on in my head. I could of probably typed for days whats really going on in the noggin but so far those are the basics. Now to get ready for my shitty job! Let me tell you though, ever since I've made the decision to pursue this damn is it motivating. I was stuck in a pattern same shit different day. Work to pay bills with no long term goal in my future. Dead end! But now I have a goal, I have something to work toward an it's a really nice feeling. I am young (20) and school has just never been for me (Tried it an dropped out), now I'm finally listening to that voice inside that gut feeling, I am finally embracing my true passion an accepting it, and its truly wonderful!
