People say you dont want to be near a stream for security and foot traffic, so my mind goes to another source for finding spots, somewhere in the middle of the forest with no water anywhere remotely close to the spot. If your spot is say 2-5 miles out in the wilderness, thats alot of walking everyday going to your spot just to water. (not saying im lazy it just requires more visits to your garden which would also not be good)
My new idea could be by using some survival skills like reading the terrain to find water possibly underground. If you dug a well with a ram pump or something too bring the water uphill that would mean less visits to the garden + remoteness = prime spot. so i'm wondering if this is a realistic idea. Any thoughts? happy growing
