Newest of Noobs - From Set Up To Growing and Harvesting

Okay, I'm a gal who sticks to her word. I got all of my materials together to make the aero cloner....I gathered what I had ATH (shortcut for Around The House with me. LOL) and set off to work.
Now, because I am so well known for winding up with a dramatic plan change while doing a project, what do you suppose I wound up with??

A bubble cloner! Bubble cloner, hydro cloner...whatever you prefer to call it. I decided the aero method where the water is shooting out of the tubing and pvc just was NOT working with what I had available and it was starting to make me cuss a bit because of the smaller scale I chose to do.
This works out perfect, I can clone up to 8 in this.

What I used: one 3 gallon bucket that actually has a screw on locking lid. I drilled out a section in the side of the top ring to put the hoses down into so the lid would go all the way on and lock.
Two large airstones, one double line aquarium air pump and of course some aquarium tubing. I set the airstones up on a container inside to get them higher to the top.
I tested the unit by placing a piece of paper toweling over the top and let it run a few minutes to make sure each hole was getting wet.

Done!
Now I just want to mention that the rooting in plain ol' water in a glass worked. We had a conversation about that here a while back.
My Sweet basil that you see in the cloner has roots about 1/2" long. But I'm hoping the cloner bucket will help to root other things faster.
If I accomplish nothing else today, I will feel the day was well spent because I finally have this done and in my grow room!
I would not have done it without all of you nudging and giving your input. :thanks:

Edit: adding a picture so I can blog just the one post for future reference. This is a pic of the underside after the cloner had been running a while.
I realize I have to make those stems longer for future rooting on the cannabis clones, these are just the two I've been working with for the last couple of weeks and the stems are short from retrying. We'll see if they come around now.
