I guess it was about 3 years ago when I found 420 Magazine.
I had always tried to grow my own cannabis since I was a teenager but I really had no idea how so, when got older and got my first computer I was in heaven when I found that their were so many forums and so much information on this very subject.
I have always lived in a non-mmj state and the laws here have always made no sense to me.
In my quest to find all the answers about these things I joined several different forums in which I wasn't well received in the pecking order at any of them until I finally found 420 Mag.
I knew right from the start that I had finally found the place that people really cared about my personal problems as well as giving sound advice to new growers like myself.
It was like a weight off my shoulders to finally be surrounded by people who really care and want to help.
I was home! I got so involved that soon I was growing beautiful cannabis plants for myself.
I also found that the reason for this place being so kind to new members was because of the values of my friend and mentor Rob Griffin who is not only a wonderful soul but he whole heartily cares about each and every member here.
It didn't take very long and I was so involved with spreading cannabis awareness that I was soon given a position as a volunteer on his staff.
I could only see one thing missing here and that was there wasn't any place to promote activism.
I knew there was a need for this so I went in to the "website help and feedback" section and expressed that I thought their should be an outlet for this here.
My friend Rob said he thought this was a good idea as well and out of the goodness of his heart, he made the "action" part of this site possible.
I really couldn't believe that one of my ideas could be made into reality, it just blew my mind and still does today because, it's still here.
At that time I was working with an old outdated computer that was full of viruses which soon crashed to the point of no return and left me heartbroken because I hadn't even started working here good yet and I couldn't get back...bummer!
Well...I have a new computer now and I'm back at my beloved 420 Magazine and loving every minute of it!!!
My goal is to get back in the saddle to complete my mission of bringing people together to fight unjust cannabis laws on a federal level and 420 Magazine is the way I plan on doing this very thing because I plan on getting people more and more involved in this worthy mission with every thread I write.
I believe we all have a duty as members here at 420 Mag. to teach everyone that we, can get these unjust laws changed if we just stick together and bring everyone here to learn what we can do to fight them.
