has anyone out there used mirrors to reflect light

Not sure if you still care but mirrors absorb light, and then reflect it back out to cause a reflection. Due to this good light hits a mirror and reflects back in the image of what it sees which is a green plant.. Which means you pollute your optimal light spectrum with what ever the mirror bounces out(usually what ever it's reflecting in the room) so the light will be polluted with almost useless green spectrum.
