Couldnt have typed it any better. I dont understand either. Alot of it has to do with misinformation and government issued "facts" most people dont really know the truth about bud. Its pretty sad considering how much information is at your finger tips. Most people dont bother doing there own research, they just swallow down what the media and anti-marijuana campaigns feed them. Society is made up of mostly robots that live what they think is a normal life. God forbid they think for themselves.

I completely agree, it's so frustrating to realize that we may have the cure for so many things, yet someone is too power hungry to actually want to help the greater population.

Hey crystalpixie. I was currios as to what you might do to open peoples hearts and minds to new ideas and alternative lifestyles(such as medical marijuana or living off the grid)? Its a topic that really interests me. It would be nice to know the jedi mind trick. lol

Lol I love that you asked, I'm sorry for the late reply. I will post a blog in reply. Please take a look and let me know what you think, I'd love to hear your thoughts/feedback. You inspired me with your response, so I thank you for that!
I have tried talking about my feelings on the topic of opening up your heart and re-connecting with your soul and how important it is, however with a few who are not marijuana users (one being my mother) and I know that she is actually a very spiritual person but is being so distracted by the materialistic, exhausting idea of life that she's losing touch with herself. I have lived with her my entire life and I have seen the damage that living a life consisting of that does. We have forgot what is important. Not money or possessions but love, dreams, and passion. That's what makes life worth living. Being able to feel things, emotions, for other people and things. Marijuana helps those who have difficulty releasing all the mind clutter, and allows them to take a minute, see all the beauty and feel something. I am a firm believer... The response will explain it further.

Living off the grid is the best decision I've ever made.
Living beyond our means is the first thing to usually tip that scale in favor of the typical way of life.
So break the mold! Who says we have to abide by these rules? If you were born under no law, why would you choose to live by an unfair one? We have strangers telling us what to do and what not to do, painted lines telling us where to park, and laws telling us that we have freedom of speech but not enough to live the way we really want.
Governments don't even have to second guess themselves, they know that people will continue to follow because society seems to run smoothly that way.. which is true to a degree. But if the hunger for power wasn't so strong, we wouldn't have half the wars, poverty, etc.
There would probably be a lot more peace loving "hippies" but there would be so much more love and less hate. I'm still very unsure as to why people are judged to this day for believing in that life.

Reality is, the earth can provide us with everything we need. We don't really need the government or money to keep us alive. If you think you need money to buy food - plant a seed (yes the Human body can live without half the crap we're feeding it). If you think you need a brand new car because the old one was en eye sore - does it get you from point a to b? then you're adding the stress (and payments) to yourself. No one said you have to have the best things or that you have to pay your way through life. You took the easy way out and some pay for it in happiness.

I guess the 'Jedi Mind Trick' is to stop following what everyone else's doing and listen to yourself as a human being. As long as I have my freedom and bit of weed, I will be completely and utterly happy. I see beauty in everything and don't need to pay to take a look around at what this incredible earth has to offer.
