Hey awesome fellow growers\stoners

I'm a beginner in indoor growing, and I want to start out with 1-2 plants, just for a test run, and I have no idea on how much wattage I'm going to need for those plants. I want to run compact fluorescent light's (cfl's). Can anyone help me out, it will be much obliged. How much light do I need for those plants.

Peace out.

Dont matter about watts. Matters on lumen and kelvin. You need 3000 lumens per square foot and 5700k . I use to use cfls and they grow the plant really slow. Might as well get a mh/hps set up. Maybe like a 250watt . I used 12 clfs grow slow and just grow my elc bill up. Get mh/hps set up with 40.000 lumes then use cfls and only get 20.000 lumens. Plant will grow super fast and bill will be almost the same. I run a 600watt mh/hps light and from
start to finsh is in 2/1/2

It depends but I would like to suggest that Full spectrum light will be helpful for your indoor plant.

Thank you all very much for the help. I got myself (2) 100 watt cfl's for vegetative stage, witch project 6500K each, will that be enough for two plants?
