looking good as always my friend,

if you give grafting a try then watch some vids on how to do it, the mehod using tap pretty much is hit and miss if it works, so you have to take the cutting then remove a cutting from the mother plant your grafting it to then you need to cut the end of the clone into a V shape then this lines up with the part you removed the cutting from, try and get the v at a similar angle to the parent plant your grafting it to,

ill try and do a video myself tomorrow so you can see how i did it, some of the tube vids are a bit vague and they use tape which i found dont give a good seal,
so you have a couple of options, the best option is grafting wax, its like candle wax and you heat it up and melt it around the cutting and plant where the graft, this totally seals the wound and keeping the air out is what makes it work, if their is a gap between the 2 grafts then the graft wont take,

now i messed around with tape for ages trying to get it sorted and i kept failing so i had a sit down and a good think about what i could use, then i remember i won a load of rolling papers in with the motm contest, so them thin rizz papers are perfect to use for grafting, you can wrap one rizlla around the grafted parts then give it a spray with the fine spray on a water bottle this will wet the rizzla and you can then push it all around the graft so its a nice tight seal, then wrap another one or 2 round if your not using the grafting wax.

the other thing you may need to do is place a bag over the cutting your grafting on, you need to keep the moisture level up on the cutting just the same as you do with clones, so use a sandwich bag or something similar and place it over the cutting and close the end around the stemp but leave a gap so you have some air flow, this will allow the air to exhange and means you can squirt water into the hole to keep the clone moist, you need to keep the graft as stable as possible so dont knock the plant or anything like that, then within a few days the plant will start look better and the clone is able to support itself, grafting is much quicker than rooting clones as your not growing roots your just repairing damage so it happens much quicker

dont use rooting hormone or gel on the graft, it needs to be kept totally clean so spray the plant down with water an hour or 2 before you graft and this will remove any dust or deris that could stop it fro grafting, it took me a few tries to get it right but my main problem was the gardeners tape as you coudlnt get the tape sealed enough to make it work.

now their was something else was going to try, i was thinking about using plumbers tape or cling film but never got round to testing it, bluetac may also work, as long as the V on the cutting is inserted into a V at the node then you should be ok

maybe you remember Miwa a while back as he was grafting at the same time i was but not sure if he managed to get it to work, he was using the grafting wax which id use if i even knew it existed, so that might be worth trying before you give it a try,

you could have a mother plant with as many strains as you like on it, this then means you only need 1 mother plant and it will keep producing clones of all the strains you grafted, just tie a marker around each graft so you can clearly see what strain is what.

but im confident you wont have a problem giving it a try, you might fail once or twice as its pretty fiddle and takes a couple of goes to get it right but again once you have done it a couple of times then you will have no problems doing it in the future,
