Legionnaires Disease from Hydroponics?

So, I'm looking at my new ladies grow in the light baked rocks and remember that at this point in the grow my reservoir temperatures skyrocket. 450 W metal halide, 60 cm from rock surface for 18 hrs a day. Thermometer is dead but the temp is about 25 C. I immediately cover as much of the rock media with tin foil as possible and add frozen water bottle to the reservoir. I can eventually get the temp down to 19 C by adding frozen water bottles several times a day.

A warm nutrient solution can promote the growth of Fusarium and other plant pathogens, particularly if the pH gets too high. This made me wonder about the growth potential for Legionella sp. This nasty bug can grow in cooling towers (warm nutrient solution) and be aerosolized by creating a mist. The air stone in my reservoir isn't going full blast, but when the bubbles break they could release an aerosol. Those using aeroponics will create even more aerosol due to increased bubbling.

I do make it a habit of sniffing my reservoir and growing media to ensure they still smell healthy (mild to strong geosmin odour), but will do it with a bit more trepidation than before.

I have thought about that hazard myself. Warm water and aerosols do look like a potential hazard.
