legalize pot...ban tobacco!!!!!!!!

I often wonder what the hell our government is thinking,by allowing the sale of tobacco,yet making pot illegal!!By now everyone knows that tobacco use causes cancer among other serious diseases,and to date there has never been one proven case of cancer caused by smoking pot.As a cigarette smoker who is desperately trying to quit,i wish the government would just outlaw tobacco,i would welcome that,but as we all know,,the reason tobacco is still legal,because the government is making a killing off the taxes(they'll even say they raise the taxes to deter tobacco use)Bullshit!!They know damn well that addiction to tobacco will still drive smokers to buy that ten dollar pack of smokes..knowing full well that this socially accepted addiction could potentially kill them or make them seriosly ill.We need some politicians with balls,to go out on a limb and say enough is enough..lets legalize pot and get it over with already!!See i believe that its a catch 22 situation all around,where the government and heathcare is concerned.If they ban tobacco use,can you imagine the decrease in hospital care,the loss of prescription sales that would be attributed to tobacco related diseases?All the money that would be lost?They need to realize they could recoup all the tax losses in regards to tobacco sales,by legalizing and taxing pot,plain and simple,actually i'm quite sure that the government is well aware of the taxation potential if they were to do this,But they're content with letting people die from tobacco use ,while their ever filling coffers get more and more engorged,when no one dies from the use of cannabis,it really makes you wonder.I'm new to the forum and just had to let off a rant or two as i put out a smoke and roll a joint!LET ME KNOW IF YOU AGREE...420 for life
