water + light+ air + temp control + feed + genetics = BUD. It seems that things that are non complex can become very complex under certain conditions . Growing in soil is what makes watering and feeding more complex. I know that many purists say its got to be soil and I subscribed to that belief myself. I learned what my girls needed to be happy and had more success by far than failure. One day I was asked by and associate to set up a flood and drain sys. Three trays 3 1k hps and three 1k lights w/ 12 buckets. All the largest clones went into buckets the rest went into f&d trays. six days in veg and on to bloom. The girls in the f&d sys blew by the bucket girls and where noticeably healthier Both groups got the same feed pure blend pro grow and pro bloom soiless formula for the trays and soil formula for the buckets. I guess the point I'm trying to make is that the plants know what they like and damn sure know what they don;t like. The taste and flavor is all there, good stuff in good stuff out. I've never seen an over watered or under watered plant Using pure blend following their dosages I have not burned one and I sure don't miss F...ing with all that dirt before and after the dust and mess sucks. Long live the 6x6 rockcube. I use kid pools small drain hole to my bucket aka reservoir equipment costs = $15 for pool $10 2 buckets $2.75 per cube. Since its not automated I have to actually pour buckent into pool twice a day. If you have access to good feed and rockcube this sys rocks.
