Well I guess my first question is what method do you use and what equipment will I need to buy?

*Thank you Toasty for gracing me with your journal space for future reference ;)

*Special for Van Stank (& future Oil Slickers OUT THERE lol)

*I chose the Fresh Harvest Edible Concentrated Cannabis Oil (CCO), but it doesn’t have to be “fresh” as long as you have 1 ounce of bud, you’re good to go. But the “fresh harvest” is by far the most superior potency I have ever had and I used a THC/CBD strain with 1:1 ratio - 6% / 6%. Started off low and slow.

I needed to create an oil that would treat my brain injury not trigger it. Sativa became a right off, but still considered Sativa blends. Then I zeroed in on the Indica strains, with 20 % Sativa and CBD/THC compounds that would treat pain as well as inflammation of the brain and body.

The first time taking oil, I could feel my feet tingling, then my legs, my hips, my back, then uplifting my brain. It was like experiencing an increase of serotonin instantly. The euphoria started my love affair with oil. The instant lift I experienced gave me hope for staying/getting off pills. After the first dose, I was all smiles and I even chased my husband around our place and tackled him to the couch then kissed him a hundred thousand times. ;)

The energy hasn’t subsided IF I don’t miss a dose. I’m at 15ml a day now, drops 3 times a day. I just gotta stay consistent and hopeful. IMO, this is the only way to treat my medical conditions because of how rare it is, you have to use rare medicines for treatments. It’s early for me, but so much has changed. I will start a new journal soon and continue to post journal entries on my progress.

But it’s really up to you, it’s just something I was so happy to have found, with the help of others in the 420 family.

Now I can’t wait to help others because this oil will save lives…YO! lol

Because I chose a low impact strain, I am able to function with it during the day. In fact, I’m thinking I will have to make one for sleep time because this last batch is very energetic. All that being said, you can finally use all of your plant to make whatever oil, butter or cream you want.

Here are a few things you’ll need to think about…

1. “Welcome to where it all began. Use your MagicalButter® machine to-automagically-infuse your favorite herbs into butter, alcohol, or your favorite cooking oil—and make your recipes come alive with fantastic flavor and fun!”

Ardent Lift (aka Nova) Decarboxylator Decarb Cannabinoid Activator Machine
(Get $30 off a Decarboxylator with promocode 'Decarb2016')
“A laboratory grade decarb for patients and caregivers who need accurate dosing.
The LIFT / NOVA™ maximizes cannabinoid availability for those preferring to smoke or vaporize, and activates available cannabinoids for edibles, extracts or tinctures.

3. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

4. BOTANICALS – bud, leaves, trim. Buds = think maximum potency!

5. “Lecithin is optional but highly recommended. Lecithin is an emulsifier used in cooking and in the pharmaceutical industry for binding ingredients in lipids (butter, oils, and fats). It helps to intensify the potency of your extracts. It is available at your local health-food or vitamin store in the form of powder, granules, or liquid. Any type is sufficient except in capsules, because they contain too many binders and fillers.” MB2 quote

6. How do you want to dose? Consider storage and/or travel? Dark Amber Bottles with glass droppers? Or Capsules with pipettes and holder?
