I need some advice

My plant is now almost 2 months old now and has been outside from almost day 1. Something within the last week has taken a liking to her, there's quite a bit of eating going on. I want to control it before it gets worse. I've read that mites aren't outdoors much so what could it be? And how do I get rid of the pests? Thanks for any advice! The site won't allow me to add pics from my phone so I'll try to get to my comp ASAP

I did some research and found many threads on neem oil, and some live by the stuff. I went out and found some in a premixed spay bottle. It says it's for keeping a shine on plants and does not say anything about keeping bugs away, is this still the right stuff to use?

Well I sprayed my plant with that stuff, I really hope it's ok since it's the only plant I'm growing outdoor this year. I will check back in and post my findings and a picture of the stuff used.

This is the spray I used , I misted the plant and about an hour later I misted with straight water to rinse. I was hoping for rain to give a good rinse and wash.

1) Need to see a picture to really know what is eating your plants.
2) Mites don't "eat" the plant anyway. Mites stick their snout (4 lack of a better word) into the leaflet and suck the plant juices out (the nutrition made from photosynthesis) causing a whit to yellow "spot" on the leaf. One or two spots are no big deal but the mite WILL attack the leaves and continue to destroy them one by one. in time, the plant's vigor slows and finally stops. This is what kills the plant. the surface area is no longer producing the sugar and nutrients from the leaflets and dies off.
3) Neem Oil IS sold as a leaf shine, however, it is effective in ridding the mites. A mother mite lays approximately 20 eggs/day. The Neem leaves a film on the leaflet and this causes the newborn mites to die from eating this instead of them attacking the leaflet and thriving. I have successfully rid mites from an indoor grow by a formula (old school) that is easy to make, not too expensive (like Neem, etc.) and works to over ride the resistance factor that all conventional remedies seem to have in common. I've been using the formula for 2-1/2 years with total success. Takes about 2 hours to make and will last (medium sized grow) for 3-4 months. Cost is about $20.00. Uses: Habanero Peppers, Garlic, Tobacco, Vegetable Oil and Dawn (dish soap). Most of the MMJ forums will have someone who has posted the same, but if you cannot find easily, PM me and I'll shoot you my formula...

OOPS, I forgot...
If your plants are getting "eaten" look at slugs, snails and any crawly insect, usually found at night. A collar of any slippery metal, around the stem's base (off the grade by 1"+) will keep them off. A tray of beer will work too. They crawl in (attracted by smell) and drown 'cause they cant et out! Much fun!
Also, make a collar from cellulose sponge and wrap it around the base of the stem (again off grade by 1"+) secure with a tie. Spray this with your favorite pesticide 2X daily 9at least) and this will stop anything that would crawl up the stem (for mites and all the small pests).
