How to make Live Resin and Live Rosin?

Live rosin and live resin have unique manufacturing processes that I find truly fascinating. It's not just me; many of my fellow enthusiasts are captivated by how these processes transform the same cannabis plant into distinctly different products. Creating live rosin involves applying heat and pressure to extract precious oils from cannabis or hash. The process is so straightforward that you can even try it at home using cannabis flower, a flat iron, and parchment paper. While some people prefer homemade products, others enjoy professionally manufactured cannabis concentrates.

On the other hand, the creation of live resin starts with fresh or fresh-frozen cannabis buds to capture the plant's full aromatic and flavor potential. This process uses solvents like BHO or CO2 to extract the desired compounds. These compounds are then processed at low temperatures in a vacuum to evaporate the solvent, resulting in a flavor-packed concentrate with maximum THC content.

Despite their similar names, live rosin and live resin are two distinct products, each with a unique manufacturing process and qualities that set them apart. The simplicity of creating live rosin allows for home experimentation, while the more complex creation of live resin involves capturing and preserving the plant's unique scent and taste profile through a meticulous extraction process. This results in a concentrate full of flavor and high in THC, preserving the essence of the cannabis plant.
