This tutorial will show you how to name your link whatever you want in your posts, so that it doesn't display the full URL (address).
First, copy the URL of the page you want the link to direct the viewer to:
It might be helpful to paste that somewhere like notepad for access, or open a new page so the URL is ready to copy.
Start a post and type in what you want the link called. Example here is the thread "RSO Oilers United". That is what I want it to show as a link. Highlight that when you are done.
Make sure you have highlighted your custom text.
Go up to the tool bar and click on the little globe with the link below it.
When that box pops up, paste the link you saved earlier in that box and then click okay.
Now your custom typing is highlighted in the link URL.
Now simply post to thread as you normally would and your custom link is displayed.
