hermaphradites without male flowers or pollen sacks

Hey everyone this is my 1st post but I have been reading the blogs here for quite a while as my interest and pleasure in growing grows. I am amazed at the knowledge that is shared here and grateful as well.

I'm. Wondering if anyone has seen or heard of female plants go "Hermie" but with no apparent signs of any male flowers or pollen sacks.
Goes like this. I am 5 weeks into flower and had a nite where temps hit 90dgs.air temp. And about 95dgs. leaf temp. I also had two occasions immediately after(fixing heat problem) where I had lights on for an hour or so longer than 12. I have a few different varieties on a flood table and two in bubbler's . The entire crop began producing seeds overnight and now 3 days later the seeds. look like they are rapidly maturing. I have inspected closely I can't find a single pollen sack. I'm convinced the stress caused them to herm because it happened to all strains on table and buckets overnight.

Has anyone experienced this

Lol. I'm sorry to laugh but I went through the exact same thing. if you don't have a timer on your lights now is the time to get one. when in flowering the plants need a STRICT 12 hour light schedule any time you change that it stresses the plants and thats why you are seeing herrmies. pull them start over my opinion buddy

Thank you Cryanburn for you reply. I do have my lights on a digital timer. I have been doing some research and according to some the seeds from these plants should be female seeds because they were not pollinated by a male. Does anyone have any experience to support this? Again I must point out that there were no male pollen sacks anywhere on any of the 3 different strains that hermaphed on me. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

Yes! I had one turn last grow but on investigating why I found a very small light leak behind her, she was real bushy. I had them on a timer and it was a cutting from my mother (White Widow) plant. It didn't pollinate anything around it. All the other plants were fine and did not produce any seeds and the seeds she/he produced were not viable, very small and all white. There were NO pollen sacks and all buds had the small seeds. Husband said she smoked just fine seeds and all. There was no 'popping' when lit up to smoke it. I was as confused as you.
