As you folks know I am a cardholder and I know a few other cardholders in my community. I helped one in his harvesting effort, both as a trimmer and as night watchman. One night we got a vist from the police. We had a dog loose on patrol (looks like a mean bulldog/rottie) and I came out of the shed with a weapon and a large flashlight to see what was going on. I was full of fear after seeing how normal people where abused in Toronto during the G20, but I stood my ground. He started talking to me like I was the owner and I quickly corrected him that I was not. The cop said he was there about the marijuana. I said I know nothing about that, but that I would grab the owner. The police asked if the dog was friendly. I said not particularily. I grabbed the dog and got the owner up. The owner showed his card and showed the police around inside the shed. It is all legal so the cop left. I did the right thing by not telling the police anything. The cop tried to engage me while we waited for my friend to pull some clothes on (Why do the cops come so late at night?). He asked how it was going and I gave him a one word answer "Cold". If you find yourself in a situation like this, say nothing or very little. Police are not my friends and they do not serve me or protect me. They do serve our corrupt government as the shock and awe treatment we saw at the G20 proves. Do not give them more than you must. I am grateful this encounter did nothing but cause a loss of sleep for me and my friend. When Cannabis is legal, I will not have to fear that anymore.
