The usual arguement you get from the anti-pot people is that it is a gateway drug. I would argue that it is prohibition that has forced people to go to a drug dealer who is only interested in profits that is the real gateway factor. The other things anti-pot people say is it is harmful to your health by smoking it. We counter with arguements like "so are ciggarettes and alcohol but they are legal" or we may say "prove it!" and the anti-pot people will not be able to pull up a creditable study. The other tack we can now take is the vapourizer being a much safer method- thanks for thinking of my health! The libertarian may say "that is none of your business, what I put or dont put in my body". The next arguement maybe the logistics of having pot freely available. They always pull out the old "What about the children" arguement. We often counter with the fact that if they want to get it now, they can and they have to do something illegal to get it or go to an illegal source to get it. I would also add that prohibition has torn up so many households and ruined more childrens lives than if the people where just left alone to enjoy their smoke. If you are an advocate for Hemp or Marijuana, you are going to get these and other questions or arguements. Emotions are strong on the other side because of the intense negative propaganda the anti-pot people have ingested for generations. You can't change thinking over night. You just have to keep pressing for your rights. Good luck all.
