Fixing Cannabis creams or Lotions boo boo's and proper cooling
If you didn't like the outcome of your Cannabis cream/lotion/salve, put it back into a pan or crock pot and heat to about 175 F/ 80 C. This will melt it back down and re-sanitize the emulsion. You can add more of one item if needed, or additional items you may have forgotten. Then you can whip and cool again following the recipe instructions.
Improper Cooling:
Sometimes mixed emulsions and ingredients will get a grainy effect if you've cooled them at room temperature too long before refrigerating them. Follow the instructions for your items for proper cooling to avoid this.
If it has a grainy texture, try to do the melt down, and then do the whipping and proper cooling.
