I doubt you'll have any molds, but you'd be surprised that sometimes there can be loopers/caterpillars in there that don't necessarily cause any damage, but they may come out when the buds dry, or sometimes if they're made it their home for a long time, they might not come out until you seal them in the jar and they have no air! At which point you would see them climbing up the walls of the jar within an hour or so. Anyway Just preparing you for the worst, hell, if you haven't had corn borers and mold, that is a complete victory in my book already. Everything else is a bonus So Yeah, look for those colas to become dense to the "cupping" and don't feed any kind of strong synthetic fert (as u know) I've found that it is VERY difficult to actually grow a weed that procures to actually become a "fine smoke" It takes real skill, in the vaporizer it is very forgiving, and can turn any bud into a great winner. You can feed organics all the way up until the end, but definitely don't use a strong synthetic fert (as you probably know you being the WORM GUY). Even then, some growers really do insist on an actual flushing solution instead of just "plain ol' water". Which is a chelated magnesium solution that will inhibit uptake of nutrients from the roots, and force the plant to consume its stored energy in the cellulose, that way it draws the stored nutrients from the plant matter in the buds, and away into the stalk, this is a similar type of manipulation towards harvesting at night-time, if we can draw some of those stored nutrients away, then we may have more aromatic, and better tasting flowers for a final product.
