So i have the money and space to grow inside now, ive grown outdoors before so i have a solid idea of what im doing but im completely new to the whole lighting and ventilation part of this, i want to save power and my space is limited to about 6'x4'x5' so i was planning on getting either some LED's or the t5 flourescents. If i went with the t5s i could get a 4foot setup with 4-6 tubes and have that hanging from the top then get the normal flourescent tubes and fixtures and have them on the sides of my little closet for extra growth towards the middle of the plants? Would having the two normal flourescent fixtures really matter that much? In terms of inner growth and mid canopy light penetration? ALL advice would be appreciated because as i said i am mew to indoor growing

HIDs will always beat LEDs and fluorescent. My suggestion? 2 400watt lights and maybe a 300 cfm fan. Youll be useing less than 1000watts an hour, and only for 12 a day. Idk where you are but i pay 7 cents a kw which would be less than 12kw a day resulting in a 84cent day or $25 a month...not bad. SOG method would be best choice. Therefor no vegging is needed keeping plants low and not having to worry about burning them or light penetration.
