I don't know about you, but I am getting sick and tired of hiding who I am. I have lived my whole life in this fear, for I was born during, what maybe come to be known as the Prohibited Generations, sometime in our future. Several Generations on this planet have been intentionally Cannabis deprived, solely to make a buck. A mighty HUGE buck, but the cost to us is a ruined world economy, global warming, ever increasing energy costs (unless we adopt a strict grow hemp for sustainable energy needs policy)(and for food production),which means food costs will also always go up. That will be easy to do once hemp is legal and freely grown everywhere.
The hard part is overcoming our collective fears. I think I now understand how Marc Emery thinks. The worst thing they can do to him is what is being done to him now. Once he is out, he will be a huge political force in Canada and around the world. I want to go out and be more outspoken in public; my problem is I do not want any ill effects to come to my loved ones due to my activism. I have my own fears to overcome.
I will end this with a brief moment when my friend and I played music for a church supper/missionary function. Even in the churches the people are getting parts of the message. Mike and I talked about hemp in general, but touched on medicinal use. People in churches have compassion and in many cases are open.
