There are soooo many ways to get high nowdays I'm starting to lose track. I try to keep up with as many as I can just for novelty and connoisseur reasons. I've gotta say, there are some I like more than others. I think the most common smoking method for me and probably in general around the world is with papers. I love sitting down with all my tools in front of me ready to prepare and craft that perfect joint. I'm no longer satisfied with just basic rolling tools anymore either. I hate getting to my rolling station and cant find my grinder, roach booklet, scissors, cradle etc. Let's face it, anyone who truly appreciates weed wants so smoke it in the nicest way possible and it's amazing how much of a difference there is in smoking a tightly rolled compact and perfectly shaped joint, and a saggy ass crumpled roll. I hate seeing spliffs in movies, they always look like they've been rolled by a blind 5 year old. It's just a waste of good weed in my opinion the way it side burns and the uneven hotrocks. So basically, I love smoking spliffs, but ONLY if it's rolled properly.
I'd say a close second to joints is bongs. All those awesome and whacky bongs you can get now aren't easy to ignore. I almost know what it feels like to be woman in a shoe shop. You just have so many different designs slapping you across your chops. I recently got a new percolator bong from this UK site called www.herbtools.co.uk and it's pretty crazy. I've always stuck to normal plastic bongs until a couple of years ago but now I've got one of these fancy glass ones with all that extra filtering going and those little nibs you can put ice cubes on, it's just bliss. I think if they were a little more convenient to use they'd be my number one choice. But I just love being able to couch lock or walk around my house with just this little roll in my hand. Plus I can never be bothered to clean the downpipes and such when they get all tarred up. I think bongs are just more of a party smoking method, or if I feel like getting really high in style one day.
Vaporizers are something I need to explore a little more, I've got one, but to be honest I think it's pretty whack quality. I hear a lot of hype about them and how you can flavour them and all sorts of stuff. They do sound really appealing with the lack of smoke and long burning time. I think I should invest in a decent vaporizer first before I comment too much. There are so many more smoking methods out there I'm looking forward to and cant wait to try.
